BRIEF: Sexual Assault near campus

A sexual assault was reported to the University of Saskatchewan Protective Services, formerly Campus Safety, on Sept. 12.

A female student was approached by a man around 6 p.m. while she was walking towards her residence on Cumberland Avenue.

The man is described as being in his 40s, having a dark complexion, and is approximately five feet six inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt with a checkered or striped pattern.

The Saskatoon Police Service is investigating the incident. Anyone with information regarding the assault has been asked to contact the SPS at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
