The University of Saskatchewan Huskies women’s soccer team have kept their undefeated streak alive after conquering the University of Regina Cougars 2-1 this past Saturday, Sept. 14. The Huskies are now 3-0 on the season.

The Regina Cougars and Saskatchewan Huskies women’s soccer teams finished the 12-game regular season only one point apart. The teams played each other in a quarter-final playoff game Oct. 28 and were almost evenly matched once again. Requiring overtime and eventually a shootout before the Regina Cougars were declared the winners of the 2-1 game.

The Huskies women’s soccer team stepped out into a blizzard Oct. 20 to conquer the
University of Calgary Dinos. The Huskies managed a 2-1 win on the snow-covered West Varsity Soccer Pitch in Calgary.

The Huskies women’s soccer squad were outstanding Oct. 6, knocking off the undefeated University of Victoria Vikes in a close one-goal game.

The Huskies men’s soccer team were disappointed with the outcomes on the pitch while traversing British Columbia on a road trip Sept. 28 and 29. Meanwhile, the Huskies women’s squad also found themselves on a western road trip Sept. 28 and 29. The team lost both games they played but played well against a pair of teams that have been in the CIS top 10 rankings this season.
