Saskatoon Police Chief Clive Weighill and Prince Albert Police Chief Dale McFee announced a friendly wager over the outcome of a hockey series.
The Saskatoon Blades are currently battling the Prince Albert Raiders in the WHL’s Eastern Conference quarter final series and the police chief of the losing city will have to wear the hockey jersey of the winning team for a day. The Blades are currently leading the series 2-0 and the two sides play again in P.A. on Wednesday.
A loss for the Raiders would be particularly embarrassing for McFee as he is also the President of the Raider hockey club.
