Provincial cabinet has approved plans for St. Thomas More College to sell Ogle Hall to the University of Saskatchewan.
STM and the university ratified the agreement in April.
Ogle Hall is currently a 50 person residence on Seminary Road. It will remain a residence until June 2011 when the property changes ownership.
By that time, the 400-bed College Quarter residence should be complete.
STM plans to use the $950,000 from the sale to enrich its Catholic Studies program, which it feels is a better fit with its mission at this time.
The university is still considering how it will use the building once it takes ownership.
