Student brand ambassadors are yet another step toward the commercialization of campus

Welcome Week festivities are a time-honoured tradition at the University of Saskatchewan, but in recent years a new trend has emerged. A handful of students are now working as “brand ambassadors,” hired by companies to represent their brand, particularly during the first few days of the semester.
