Languages at the University of Saskatchewan are suffering under the budget cuts being implemented across the College of Arts and Science. Though neither the university nor the college budgets have officially been released, students have caught wind of likely funding cuts from tutorial leaders and professors as well as the two town hall meetings held by the college.

On March 25, Canada’s 40th Parliament was dissolved as a result of a vote of non-confidence. The election, which will take place on May 2, will be the fourth in seven years and will surely cost $300 million and be a general waste of time.
