A dad interrupted his daughter’s online class accidentally, leading to a massive argument.
On Apr. 1, Melinda Kochner was in her anthropology online class, which takes place weekly on Thursday evening. That day, the class was discussing the concept of marriage in different cultures.
Melinda says she was taking diligent notes, as she usually does, just as her professor asked the students a question about how the students view marriage.
“I have a 3.7 GPA and it’s all because of my elite note taking,” Melinda said. “I am like a human stenotype machine.”
Melinda, as the studious student she is, raised her hand, but her archnemesis Gunther Flaman beat her to it. Melinda was up to go after him, but as Flaman was answering the question, Melinda’s dad Monty Kochner walked into his daughter’s workspace, which they both share.
“I was just having the time of my life, until I noticed that my daughter was in class,” Monty said.
Monty had just stepped out of the shower and was wearing his bathrobe, singing his favourite song, as he stubbed his toe. Just as Melinda turned on her mic to answer the question, Monty yelled, “Fuck!”
“I could see all my classmates eyes widen. That Gunther even smirked,” Melinda said. “It was the most horrifying moment in my life.”
Monty, upon realizing his mistake, passed out on the floor.
Beatrice Kochner, Melinda’s mother, walked in and swooped her husband out of the frame as Melinda frantically tried to turn her mic and camera off.
Melinda dropped her anthropology class after and is now preparing to move out.
