Q: I’ve been in Saskatoon for two months now and I still have no idea what the good bars and clubs are. What’s the deal with the nightlife around here? — Kyle
Sugar: Since Saskatoon is surrounded by small towns your best bet is any country bar! Don’t like horses, trucks or plaid? Reconsider your tastes or you’ll likely be living lonely for the rest of your stay in Saskatoon.
Spice: I’ve got a crowbar that I’d just love to introduce you too. That said, if you’re looking to spend a night on the town, I hear that the bar fights at Hudson’s Canadian Tap House are second to none.
Q: The guy I like lives on another continent! How do we live happily ever after?? — Jessica
Sugar: Oh hun, my heart goes out to you. One of you will eventually have to apply for citizenship if you’re in this for the long haul. Remember that long distance doesn’t have to be difficult and frustrating. You can spice up your love life with technology nowadays! Best of luck to you, I’m on your side!
Spice: Can’t help you. I’d never associate — let alone like — someone who came from another continent.
