Saskatoon’s own shaggy rock and roll band the Sheepdogs have made it into the final round of Rolling Stone‘s Choose The Cover contest.

So far they have survived every round of elimination during the 3 month long competition, which is set to culminate at next month’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. The Sheepdogs will face off against the other finalist, Lelia Brossard. Both performances will be streamed live on Rolling Stone‘s website.

Fans of each band can then vote for the ultimate winner online. Whoever wins will become the first unsigned act to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone in its 44 year history. The winner will also receive a record deal with Atlantic Records.
