Rainer’s interest in student politics led him to be a perfect fit for the associate news editor. He loves campus issues and keeping students up to date about events that affect them. Since he began contributing in 2013, Rainer has been a staple of the Sheaf’s news section. As a former USSU councillor, he brings a strong knowledge of campus affairs to match his experience from essay writing competitions and a stint as the public relations officer for the Saskatchewan Youth Parliament. Rainer is going into his third year of economics with the goal of becoming a professor.
