This long awaited album is absolutely nothing you’d expect from the mysterious, cabin-dwelling folk artist. With cryptic track titles and melodic but coded lyrics, it’s difficult to decipher what exactly this album really means. A long way from For Emma, Forever Ago, 22, A Million shows incredible growth and change for the artist, even if it does seem to read like a last-ditch effort to stay relevant.
