Media Access and Production (eMAP) is offering a set of courses which allows students to learn audio and visual production.
The skills lend themselves to a world of user-driven media on the Internet, and allow students to learn how to present themselves professionally online.
For the visually inclined, video production is divided into four courses which can be taken at different times throughout the semester.
The courses encompass a variety of skills, so people with any level of media literacy can enroll and work up to complex production. The final course involves creating film in a group using techniques of pre- to post-production.
Audio production has two courses, which cover microphone choice, recording technique and editing. As with the video course, a final comercial is produced.
