The 2010 USSU executive elections are over!
This year, only two positions were contested, those of Vice-President Student Affairs and Vice-President Operations & Finance. The remaining three positions, including that of president, were decided by acclamation. All voting took place on PAWS on March 24 and 25.
Although there was only about one week to campaign, there was considerable interest, as evidenced by the comment section on some Sheaf articles. Voter turnout was at slightly under 12 per cent. Here are the election results.

Votes in favour: 71.65 per cent

Justin Lasnier: 39.04 per cent
Abstentions: 17.56 per cent
Winner: Leon Thompson
Scott Hitchings: 57.65 per cent
Matt Donlevy: 26 per cent
Abstentions: 16.35 per cent
